At Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., our mission is to drive innovation and sustainability in the industrial gas industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Accountant France to join our team and contribute to our global compliance efforts.

  • We are looking for a seasoned accounting professional with expertise in French GAAP and international tax laws to ensure timely and accurate data preparation for external reporting to tax authorities and auditors.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with our global compliance team to ensure adherence to local regulations and standards, and will be responsible for preparing balance sheet reconciliations on a quarterly basis.
  • As a Technical Accountant France, you will have the opportunity to work on complex financial projects, develop your skills in SAP, and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing annual French GAAP financial statements and ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
  • Coordinating with the global compliance team to ensure adherence to international tax standards.
  • Developing and implementing financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Practical work experience in French GAAP accounting and international tax laws.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Native level of French and high level of English.
