**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Accountant France to join our team at Air Products. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with our global team to ensure compliance with all key financial deadlines for our subsidiaries in France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Algeria, and Morocco.
- Prepare and review financial data in accordance with local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) requirements for external reporting to tax authorities and auditors.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports for US GAAP in accordance with our company's month-end closing schedule.
- Assist in the preparation of local GAAP statutory accounts for our entities in the aforementioned countries, including the preparation of working papers and related schedules for audit purposes.
- Be responsible for the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations on a quarterly basis in line with company policy.
**Requirements**
- Practical experience in the preparation of annual French GAAP financial statements.
- Basic tax knowledge about French corporate tax returns and specific local taxes.
- French GAAP accounting study degree.
- Office skills.
- Working with SAP is considered an advantage.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a large multi-disciplined environment.
- Native level of French and high level of English.
