Job Title: Regional Retrofit Consultant and Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Retrofit Consultant and Project Manager to join our team at Ieteam in Madrid. As a key member of our global retrofit team, you will provide technical consultancy services to end-users in the oil and gas industry, focusing on complete conversions, including dismantling and installation works.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing retrofit assessments (electrical, mechanical, construction), and conducting feasibility studies, TCO & energy saving calculations.
  • Preparing specifications, proposals, and EPCM contracts in close collaboration with customers, subcontractors, and regional service sales.
  • Building up regional know-how and sub-supplier/partner networks needed for Retrofit projects.
  • Technically supporting both the project development phase as well as the contract negotiation phase.
  • Project managing the execution of regional Retrofit projects, in conjunction with existing sub-suppliers/partner networks.

To be successful in this role, you will have a degree in electrical engineering (preferred) or mechanical/mechatronic engineering, or a comparable qualification in rotating equipment. You will have gained professional, technical experience dealing with rotating equipment, electrical drives, and ideally experience in the energy production and/or oil & gas business, and/or EPC contracts.

You will be a strong communicator with excellent written and spoken English skills, and German language skills are an advantage but not a must. Your independent, structured, and systematic way of working will be rounded off by your customer and solutions orientation and service mentality.
