We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Nordex Group. As a Software Engineer - Wind Farm Control Development, you will be responsible for developing and implementing control systems for wind farms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement control algorithms for wind farm control systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop software solutions
- Test and validate software systems to ensure compliance with customer and grid code requirements
- Optimize control system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including control and grid code teams, laboratory test teams, and customers
Requirements:
- Degree in Control, Electrical, or Telecommunications Engineering
- Deep knowledge of PLC programming with IEC and Matlab/Simulink
- Experience with industrial communication protocols, such as Profinet, Modbus TCP/RTU, IEC /104, DNP3, OPC_UA, Bluecom
- Good experience in control algorithms and network technology
- English language proficiency (very good written and spoken)
- Desirable experience in IEC Namespace, Embedded Coding Generation, and RT systems for Control Applications
