Job Description

Job Title: Software Engineer (m/f/d) - Wind Turbine Control

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our international Wind Turbine Control department. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge control and automation technology for wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement software functions for operational control of wind turbines
  • Develop and maintain software architecture for optimal execution of control solutions
  • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical departments to coordinate new requirements
  • Analyze field data to define optimized functionality
  • Develop and execute tests and approval criteria for HIL and field tests

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or comparable field
  • Advanced knowledge in abstract thinking and PLC programming
  • Experience with version control systems and agile software development methodologies
  • Good knowledge of industrial communication protocols and Matlab/Simulink
