Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Nordex Group. As a Senior Software Engineer for Wind Turbine Control, you will be responsible for the development of control technology functions in the operational control of wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement software functions for wind turbine control according to requirements on a programmable logic controller (PLC).
  • Define test and acceptance criteria for the qualification of wind turbine software.
  • Perform quality assurance through software tests on the HiL setup in the software laboratory and on site at the wind turbine.
  • Collaborate with various departments in an international environment.

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed technical degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in PLC software development according to IEC61131 is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of different communication protocols (e.g. Profinet, Modbus TCP) is required.
  • Fluent English and high results orientation and quality awareness.
