Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced KYC Team Leader to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for leading a team of KYC analysts and ensuring that our company remains compliant with all applicable regulations and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership and Management. Lead and manage a team of KYC analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive team success.

  • Performance Monitoring and Feedback. Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback to improve skills and maximize potential.

  • Task and Resource Organization. Organize tasks and resources based on needs, including consumer KYC, screening (PEPs, Adverse media, Sanctions), and limited Customer Care activities.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration. Liaise with the Fincrime team in Luxembourg for escalating relevant cases, and collaborate with the IT team in Milan to implement and improve KYC controls and processes.

  • Process Improvement. Identify process improvement opportunities and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

  • Team Leadership Experience. 2-3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.

  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills. Excellent ability to interact effectively with team members and individuals at all levels of the company.

  • Organizational and Time Management. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.

  • KYC Analyst Experience. Proven background as a KYC analyst with a solid understanding of KYC/AML regulations and processes.

  • AML/AFC Qualification. AML/AFC qualification from ACAMS, ICA, or a similar industry body is a plus.

  • Language Proficiency. Proficiency in both English and Italian.
