Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced KYC Team Leader to join our team. As a KYC Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of KYC analysts, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies. You will play a critical role in managing the KYC process and driving the team's performance to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of KYC analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive the team's success.
  • Monitor team performance, providing feedback in regular 1:1s to improve skills and maximize potential.
  • Organize tasks and resources based on needs, including consumer KYC, screening (PEPs, Adverse media, Sanctions), and limited Customer Care activities.
  • Liaise with the Fincrime team in Luxembourg for escalating relevant cases, and collaborate with the IT team in Milan to implement and improve KYC controls and processes.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Excellent ability to interact effectively with team members and individuals at all levels of the company.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proven background as a KYC analyst with a solid understanding of KYC/AML regulations and processes.
  • AML/AFC qualification from ACAMS, ICA, or a similar industry body is a plus.
  • Proficiency in both English and Italian.
