Product Development Engineer Compressors

At MAHLE, we are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer Compressors to join our team. As a key member of our product engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and improving our AC compressors. Your expertise in mechanical engineering and product development will be instrumental in driving innovation and excellence in our products.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work with customers to develop and sign technical matrices for specific applications.
• Run and organize validation programs for AC compressor components.
• Develop and release new standards for specific applications with the global team.
• Conduct DFMEA/PFMEA processes to understand and improve validation-related issues.
• Interpret blueprints and specify Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Assist with preparation and execution of test units.
• Analyze test data and organize results relative to internal or customer specifications.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or higher.
• 5+ years of experience in the development of precision products.
• Strong understanding of principles of statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, strengths of materials, thermodynamics, physics (mechanical and electrical), and engineering design.
• Experience with the full product lifecycle development up to production.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and basic 3D modeling.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage time and organize effectively across multiple projects.
