**About the Role**
As a Product Engineer Compressors at MAHLE, you will be part of the product engineering team responsible for developing AC compressors. Our current product teams are working on a product portfolio consisting of Mechanical variable displacement compressors and electrically driven compressors. We are looking for a skilled engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of AC compressor components.

**Key Responsibilities**
• Design and develop AC compressor components
• Develop and author engineering specifications for components and assemblies to be used in manufacturing facilities to mass-produce compressor components and assemblies
• Utilize DFMEA/PFMEA processes to provide a robust design prior to mass production
• Blueprint reading and interpretation & specification of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Assist with preparation and execution of test units
• Understand A/C compressor tests efficiently and correctly
• Analyze test data and organize results relative to internal or customer specifications with observations and conclusions

**Requirements**
• BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or higher
• Experience developing precision Mechatronic products is required in development of precision products for 5+ years
• Understanding of principles of statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, strengths of materials, thermodynamics, physics (mechanical and electrical), and engineering design
• Automotive/Residential/Commercial HVAC development experience is highly desired
• Experience with full product cycle life development up to production
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office and Basic 3D modeling
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good written and oral skills – ability to convey technical concepts
• Ability to manage time and organize effectively with multiple projects
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Good results orientation and strong work ethic
