Business Development Manager

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating and developing client portfolios through coordinating meetings and business visits. Your primary goal will be to acquire new business and global clients within our main markets assigned by the sales strategy.

**Responsibilities**

* Generate and develop client portfolios through coordinating meetings and business visits
* Provide commercial follow-up with potential clients
* Acquire new business and global clients within the main markets assigned by the sales strategy
* Make offers to clients
* Negotiate rates with clients and suppliers
* Achieve the monthly Gross Profit established in the sales budget
* Record the corresponding commercial information in the CargoWise/CRM system
* Execute specific commercial campaigns to meet business needs

**Requirements**

* Extensive experience in sales within the freight forwarder industry
* Knowledge and experience with services: BBK, RO-RO, Chartering, FCL OOG, Heavylift, etc.
* Advanced English language skills
* Analytical capability for commercial strategies
* Customer orientation
* Proactive attitude
* Time management skills
* Sense of responsibility
* Negotiation skills
