Welcome to an exciting opportunity at RingCentral, a leading provider of cloud communications solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Operations Manager to join our team in Spain.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the calculation and maintenance of annual office budgets, including facilities, office supplies, and HR expenses for our offices in Valencia and Alicante. This role will also involve coordination with various departments to gather data for budget estimation and spend, as well as analysis of potential risks and compliance issues associated with budget maintenance and office operations.
You will also be responsible for communication and approval of budget requests/spends with our HQ in the USA, tracking existing hiring processes for Spain offices, and reporting to stakeholders on agreed-upon terms. Additionally, this role will involve organization, coordination, maintenance, and tracking of daily office operations internally and externally with subcontractors.
We are looking for a team player with strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, who can lead presentations and meetings to achieve meeting goals. A basic understanding of budgeting and project management is essential, including knowledge of cost centers, tax, inflation, and Gantt planning. A degree in Engineering or MBA is desirable, and experience as a project manager or administration/business operations manager is required.
Fluency in English is mandatory, and a strong understanding of MS Office and Google Docs products is essential. Experience with project management tools such as MS Projects, Smartsheet, Asana, and Wrike is a plus. Financial degree or experience in finance is also a plus, and B1/A2 Spanish language proficiency is expected.
In return, we offer a comprehensive compensation package, including a salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, a pension scheme, paid time off, paid sick leave, maternity and paternity leave, wellness programs, employee assistance program, free legal services, and an employee bonus referral program.
