About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center IT Technician to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting the IT infrastructure that supports the AWS cloud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure racks of hosts in line with internal SLAs
  • Diagnose and repair issues for server, storage and network devices, including the physical replacement of parts
  • Remediation or recovery of physical power issues on racks and participate in Data Center power & cooling events
  • Shift work (4 days on and 4 days off including night shifts on a rotational basis)
  • This position also has a physical component requiring the ability to lift & rack equipment using our lifting equipment
  • Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and their own vehicle to travel between sites

Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma
