We're looking for a Product Manager to join our team in Barcelona, where you'll play a key role in driving growth and innovation in our Speciality Gases sector.
As a Product Manager, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out product plans that deliver our company's vision and strategy. You'll set the long-term vision and strategy for our Special Gases division, driving achievement of growth objectives including market share, revenue, and profit for all channels and key customers.
You'll gain a deep understanding of the high purity gases segments, identify and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth. You'll create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners, working closely with our Sales teams to deliver targets of volume, revenue, and profit.
You'll also drive product launches and communication, working closely with our Comms and Operational Marketing teams to prepare necessary documentation, sales material, technical sheets, and brochures. You'll assess market competition by comparing our company's products to competitors' products, and prepare short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports for management.
You'll work closely with our Supply Chain and Operations teams to optimize management of logistics, carry out promotional events, open days, and exhibitions. You'll also carry out training for sales engineers and channel partners, and network with OEMs and key stakeholders in the local market to obtain timely feedback on market trends and sustain and develop Air Products' brand as a quality supplier.
What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you'll need 2-3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in the industrial sector. You'll also need a technical study in chemistry, engineering, or a related field. Good communication and influencing skills are essential, as well as high commercial acumen and results-oriented behavior. You'll need a strategic and analytical mindset, excellent influencing and interpersonal skills, good organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
