Sales Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Professional to support the sale of Original Equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mining industry requirements and be able to provide exceptional technical support to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise to customers on Weir's products and services.
Collaborate with internal departments to support business development and sales efforts.
Analyze customer specifications and utilize simulation software to select the most suitable equipment.
Assist in the preparation of detailed and competitive quotations and bids.
Oversee order fulfillment requirements to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Travel to key accounts to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Support aftermarket sales through site visits and collaboration with other departments.
Conduct engaging product presentations and training sessions to educate clients.
Cultivate a deep understanding of Weir's products and services.
Represent Weir Minerals at industry exhibitions and trade shows to showcase our offerings.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mining, Industrial, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Proven experience in the mining industry, particularly in customer-facing roles.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Willingness to travel extensively, up to 60% of the time.
