We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to join our Amazon Logistics team. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of operations professionals to ensure the smooth execution of our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a Team of Operations Professionals: You will be responsible for leading a team of operations professionals to ensure the smooth execution of our logistics operations.
- Drive Operational Excellence: You will be responsible for driving operational excellence by analyzing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work closely with cross-functional teams to standardize shift practices and improve operational excellence.
- Develop and Implement Safety and Wellbeing Initiatives: You will be responsible for developing and implementing safety and wellbeing initiatives to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Analyze and Improve Shift Performance: You will be responsible for analyzing and improving shift performance by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
As an Area Manager, you will work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, leading a team of operations professionals to ensure the smooth execution of our logistics operations. Your main focus will be to drive operational excellence by analyzing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
You will also be responsible for developing and implementing safety and wellbeing initiatives to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to standardize shift practices and improve operational excellence.
About the TeamAmazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilize creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers.
Our goal is to make our customers' delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions for our newest concepts, like Amazon Fresh, Prime Now and Amazon Restaurants.
Requirements- Relevant Experience in People Management: You will have relevant experience in people management, including leading teams and developing and implementing safety and wellbeing initiatives.
- Relevant Experience in Logistics Operations: You will have relevant experience in logistics operations, including analyzing and improving shift performance and driving operational excellence.
- Advanced Proficiency in Verbal and Written English: You will have advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and local language.
