Sales and Marketing Director

As a Sales and Marketing Director, you will be responsible for proactively soliciting and managing group and transient sales opportunities. You will manage the hotel's segment sales effort, actively up-selling each business opportunity to maximize revenue potential. Your daily activities will be focused on achieving personal and team-related revenue goals, ensuring business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery. You will also be responsible for driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
- Work collaboratively with off-property sales channels to ensure group and transient sales efforts are coordinated, complementary, and not duplicative.
- Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct data analysis and sharing of information on market conditions, competitors, client, and industry changes.
- Identify new group and transient business to achieve personal and property revenue goals.
A 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, or a 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, with 4 years of experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
