Job Title: Technical Application Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Application Consultant to join our QAD Core team at Affinis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for participating in the Support, Development, and Rollout of QAD systems and modules related to our international projects, based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for QAD systems and modules at the local and corporate level.
  • Develop and implement new functions and modules to enhance our QAD system.
  • Roll out QAD systems to additional sites and ensure smooth implementation.
  • Perform technical maintenance of our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
  • Continuously improve our QAD system and application to meet business requirements.
  • Enhance the technical and functional knowledge of our team to ensure we stay up-to-date with industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in QAD ERP environments.
  • Solid understanding of QAD Enterprise Edition functionality.
  • Business processes knowledge in manufacturing companies.
  • Excellent communication skills, team working, and leadership abilities.
  • Good English level, with any additional language being an asset.
  • Experience in international environments and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to travel when required, with a flexible schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical knowledge of QAD infrastructure.
  • Progress 4GL RDBMS and programming language skills.
  • Linux OS basic administration and shell scripting skills.
  • Knowledge in other IT fields or systems, such as RF environments, interoperability, and business processes.
