Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for Thermo Fisher Scientific laboratory plastics, addressing customer inquiries via various channels.
  • Collaborate with internal experts to resolve technical issues and challenges, leveraging available resources and knowledge databases.
  • Accurately document customer interactions in our Customer Relationship Management system, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Make recommendations for improvements to our knowledge databases, websites, and other company-managed technical resources.
  • Deliver technical updates to colleagues and participate in department meetings, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in products and solutions.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a life sciences or similar field, or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of laboratory experience and a strong scientific/research background.
  • Prior experience in customer service or a customer-facing role is a strong plus.
  • Fluency in English and German for both written and verbal communication is a requirement.
  • Customer-focused approach, proven ability to quickly learn complex technical information, and strong problem-solving skills.
