About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Amazon Vendor Services team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing vendor financial deductions, identifying root causes, and developing joint action plans to resolve critical disputes or hold situations with vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Analysis and Root Cause Identification: Analyze financial and operational defects to identify root causes for financial deductions and define joint action plans to resolve critical disputes or hold situations with vendors.
  2. Vendor Relationship Management: Facilitate regular progress reviews with vendors to create sustainable long-term results and build trusting relationships across job functions and levels within the vendor's organization.
  3. Collaboration and Project Management: Work on cross-functional projects with internal stakeholders related to new process creation and improvement of existing work, such as facilitating better communication between teams and creating new tools and efficiency through offshoring of simple workflows.
  4. Travel and Stakeholder Engagement: Travel within EU may be required for this role, and you will engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand Retail vendors' financial deductions and create better vendor experiences on Amazon-wide processes.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: Bachelor's/Master's degree and 1-2 years of professional experience in a related field.
  2. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in creating comprehensive analysis for senior stakeholders.
  3. Negotiation and Relationship-Building Skills: Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Language and Technical Skills: Excellent written and spoken English, with knowledge of MS Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Data Analysis and Project Management: Experience in data analysis and project management, with basic SQL and Advanced Excel skills.
  2. Supply Chain Knowledge: Understanding of supply chain processes and fluency in one additional European language (e.g. German, French, Italian, Spanish).
