The Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC) is a leading research centre dedicated to advancing our understanding of leukaemia and related disorders. We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team and contribute to our research goals.

Research Focus

Our research group, led by Dr. Cuartero, investigates the mechanisms that regulate transcription in normal blood development and leukemia. We are particularly interested in understanding how inflammatory signals influence leukemic progression and whether inflammatory modulation can attenuate the severity of myeloid malignancies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research in the field of epigenetics and haematology
  • Contribute to the development of new research projects and ideas
  • Collaborate with other researchers and clinicians to advance our understanding of leukaemia
  • Present research findings at national and international conferences

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented researcher with a strong background in epigenetics, haematology, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a relevant discipline and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
