About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at Schneider Electric. As a key member of our Customer Satisfaction and Quality department, you will be responsible for leading the evaluation and validation of third-party integrators and suppliers, ensuring they meet our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Management
    • Lead the evaluation and validation of third-party integrators and suppliers to ensure they meet our quality standards.
    • Monitor and control the performance of suppliers, performing quality checks as required.
    • Manage suppliers throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with the Project Management team.
    • Support suppliers in driving quality programs and methods to ensure continuous improvement.
    • Lead problem resolution with suppliers, ensuring efficient execution and good KPIs.
    • Define annual audit plans with Solutions Supply Chain, based on sales and tendering needs, and monitor corrective actions.
    • Collaborate with the Project Quality Lead to define proper expectations and standards per project technical requirements and customer specifications.
    • Notify external in-house suppliers of non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
    • Drive monthly supplier reviews with internal stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with Industrialization and Operations teams to define IG/OG strategies.
    • Consolidate non-quality costs and drive improvement actions.
  • Quality Systems Lead
    • Build, maintain, and improve the quality management system within the organization.
    • Support the development of processes and procedures, ensuring maintenance of these documents in the Integrated Management System.
    • Plan, lead, and/or conduct internal and external audits.
    • Lead management reviews and follow up on improvement plan execution.
    • Animate and challenge process owners.
    • Obtain and maintain external certifications (ISO 9001).
    • Monitor corrective actions resulting from yearly audits to be implemented in the organization.
    • Ensure effective communication of the Quality Policy to the factory, recording evidence of the communication process.
    • Communicate factory KPIs (MDR, FFR, and CSI) to employees.
    • Ensure maintenance of the Training Matrix by auditing employees.
Requirements
  • Technical degree.
  • Master's in engineering valued.
  • 3-6 years' experience in Customer Satisfaction and Quality, especially Supplier Quality Management and Systems Quality.
  • More than 3 years' experience in Quality Systems with knowledge of ISO 9001.
  • Previous experience as an auditor.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and use of quality tools.
  • Previous experience in Salesforce and Procore is highly valued.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
