Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Specialist to join our team at Carrier. As a key member of our supply chain quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our suppliers and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct supplier qualification and certification processes to ensure compliance with Carrier's quality standards.
- Analyze quality data to identify systemic issues and develop supplier-specific quality initiative strategies.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and improve supplier performance.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve their quality management systems.
- Monitor and report on supplier performance to ensure compliance with Carrier's quality standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a smooth and efficient supply chain.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experience.
- Practical to substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
- University Degree or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience.
- Or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience.
