Our company has various commercial sectors, including G+D Mobile Security, a world leader in secure telecommunications systems via SIM/eSIM. We are currently seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Barcelona.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspection activities to ensure products meet specifications and company requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers to analyze root causes and implement corrective actions for quality issues and process failures.
- Work with suppliers to implement continuous improvement activities.
- Perform regular supplier audits.
- Manage supplier process change management and coordinate with regional and global quality for review and approval.
- Qualify new supplier sites through audit execution and closure.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance.
- Collaborate with Strategic Purchasing on Supplier Business Reviews.
- Investigate supplier complaints and generate 8D reports.
Quality Claim Management
- Responsible for managing customer and supplier claim processes, including:
- Identifying issue owners (subsidiaries, suppliers, and functions).
- Conducting initial failure analysis (failure verification).
- Verifying preventive measures and preparing 8D reports for customer service/customer.
- Ensuring timely resolution of customer claims.
Other Quality Assignments
- Assist the Quality Manager with periodic KPI reporting to HQ.
- Guide complaint owners on the use of QC tools for root cause analysis and CAPA.
- Support customer audits at supplier sites.
- Provide support as needed for supplier quality-related matters.
- Manage generic purchase and delivery specifications, as well as specifications for subcontracting.
- Ensure the availability of necessary documentation for raw material inspection.
- Define inspection control plans at entry points and maintain records.
- Support inspections at entry points.
- Monitor and make decisions based on KPIs for your area.
