Senior Technical Consultant - IT Service Management Expert

**About the Role**

As a Senior Technical Consultant in IT Service Management (ITSM) at OpenText, you will play a pivotal role in driving the delivery of advanced IT solutions, making a profound impact on our clients' operational efficiency and service excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design and implement ITSM strategies that align with client business objectives, ensuring seamless integration and optimizing IT infrastructure.
  • Engage with state-of-the-art technologies and contribute to innovative ITSM solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality IT services and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in ITIL frameworks and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal stakeholders.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in IT service management or related fields, with expertise in ITIL frameworks and best practices.
  • Programming languages: Java, Python, C++.
  • Product experience: Minimum 2 years in large-scale implementations of ITSM solutions, such as OpenText SMAX, ServiceNow ITSM, Atlassian Jira Service Management, and others.
  • Certifications (Preferred): ITIL 4, COBIT 5, TOGAF 9, AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
  • Soft skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, leadership abilities to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Language proficiency: Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in German or French is advantageous.
