Job Opportunity

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Applus IDIADA. As a key member of our Electronics team, you will be responsible for implementing control software for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and other automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software for high-level control layers of ADAS functions
  • Create modular and reusable embedded software designs, along with associated documentation
  • Develop test cases and perform unit, module, and integration software testing, with required documentation
  • Manage software versions and configurations
  • Rapidly prototype and implement control layer validation in SiL/MiL and mule vehicle
  • Support project management and contribute to the development of control strategies, sensor performance validation, and sensor data fusion validation

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Requirements management
  • MISRA C, ISO 26262, and AUTOSAR standards
  • Proven experience in software development (Simulink, C/C++, Assembly)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to discuss at different hierarchical levels
  • Empathy, team spirit, and high level of assertiveness
  • Committed, goal-driven, with successful result orientation and strong service orientation
  • Open to working in a multicultural team

Education

  • University degree: Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering, specializing in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Telecommunications

Language Skills

  • Fluent English
  • Other languages an asset
