Job Description

Applus IDIADA is seeking an experienced Homologation Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing activities within the scope of projects related to the Homologation of ADAS systems, Automated Vehicle, and related vehicle regulations. This includes managing projects of Cybersecurity and Software update certification.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of manufacturer's documentation
  • Prototype assessment, preparation, instrumentation, and test, both at IDIADA HQ and in other locations worldwide
  • Analysis of test results
  • Homologation reports
  • Manage the whole approval process, including multidisciplinary teams
  • Meetings with manufacturers and approval authorities
  • Participation in R+D projects

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Industrial/mechanical/telecommunications/electronics/IT/aeronautical engineering (MSc valued)
  • Other engineering degrees or master acceptable depending on competences and experience

Experience:

  • Experience in automotive engineering valuable
  • Knowledge or experience in quality control, regulation, or standards
  • Knowledge or experience in measuring systems, procedures, and equipment
  • Knowledge in new automotive technologies related to General Safety Regulation 2: intelligent vehicle safety and dynamic systems

Languages:

  • High level of English (other languages valued, French, Italian, German, etc.)
