About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and creative Chief Marketing Experience Officer to lead our brand activations and expand our audience through organic channels, word of mouth, and thought leadership.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and executing event-based marketing strategies, including our in-person conference, online events, side events, and stage presence. Your goal will be to grow our conference to 5,000 attendees within a few years while ensuring timely delivery and staying within budget guidelines.
You will also be responsible for developing campaigns and messaging that capture the hearts and minds of our users, connecting their emotional values to our products' functional purpose, and transforming this into immersive experiences.
In addition, you will partner with global marketing leadership to gain buy-in and commitment from channel owners for campaign promotion, measure and analyze campaign success in terms of business impact, and build and execute the strategy for partner marketing and sponsorships.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need at least 10 years of experience in strategy and tactics for brand campaigns, both hands-on and as a team leader. You should have a proven track record of managing brand campaigns with annual budgets over $10M/year (excluding paid media spend) and demonstrated success in overseeing or creating rich and relevant brand campaign experiences.
A strong results-based mentality, analytical skills, and data-driven thinking are essential, along with excellent listening, interviewing, meeting facilitation, storytelling, and writing skills. You should be an outstanding communicator, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of B2B and B2C experience and be fluent in English. Speaking multiple languages, such as Spanish, German, or French, is a plus. You will take extreme ownership, be proactive, and always question what can be improved. A passion for constant change and enthusiasm for making things better are a must.
