The Opportunity

This role as an Electrophysiology Technical Specialist - Andalucía Oriental within our Electrophysiology (EP) team presents an exciting chance to provide expert support and guidance on the use of Abbott EP products within the designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer clinical consultation, teaching, and support on the application of EP products during electrophysiological procedures in hospitals (catheter laboratories).
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of current and new therapies and technologies within the therapy area, including competitor devices, as well as a general understanding of the country's healthcare market dynamics.
  • Provide expert technical support to the EP salesforce, proactively communicate information, and discuss product placement and complex case support with the sales team.
  • Understand business priorities of internal and external clients, awareness of sales targets and trends, marketing messaging, and describe desired or actual business results in measurable scales or terms.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Sciences or a related field (preferably Biomedical Engineering).
  • Ideal experience in electrophysiology/cardiac rhythm management clinical settings or equivalent roles within the industry.
  • Familiarity with catheter lab and operating room procedures and protocols, as well as strong cardiac anatomy and physiology knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills, active listening, and questioning techniques.
  • A willingness to travel 50% of the time and ability to work autonomously, adapting work schedules to procedure durations and coping with irregular work days.
  • Driving license (at least one year old).

Málaga-Córdoba region.
