Job Description

As a Sales Representative, you will be primarily responsible for selling products and generating sales for the German-speaking part of Switzerland (Central and Eastern Switzerland) and if required in other regions. You will report to Moteo's Swiss subsidiary: Grandjean Diffusion SA.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Dealer Network Development: Organize and conduct regular visits to independent dealers to help them better position themselves and sell more products.
  2. Market Analysis and Planning: Identify dealer and end-client needs, business challenges, and provide advice. Analyze the market, identify accounts, and create an account plan for the region.
  3. Dealer Acquisition and Relationship Management: Provide dealer acquisition by approaching potential customers and giving presentations. Proactively maintain dealer relationships through account plan development and monitoring.
  4. Closing Deals: Close deals by building trust, explaining product and service thoroughly, and initiating new applications.
  5. Project Management and Administration: Manage and coordinate small projects, partnerships, promotions, and social media engagement. Maintain thorough administration (correspondence, contracts, quotations) in collaboration with inside sales.
  6. Training and Development: Organize off/online dealer training about product specifications, market insights, and promotions.
Requirements
  1. You have a minimum of 3 years in a dealer network of 2-wheels or automotive business as a sales representative.
  2. Commercial flair and drive are your nature.
  3. You are a go-getter, results-oriented, and have the will to succeed.
  4. You prioritize customers and stand for a personalized approach; hands-on mentality.
  5. Swiss-German native speaker with good knowledge of French and sound knowledge of Microsoft 365 Word and Excel, and ideally some experience with ERP/CRM.
  6. Able to convince others of a way of working.
  7. Stress-resistant and know how to prioritize.
  8. Autonomous, multitasking, and available a few weekends a year (events).
  9. Driving license for motorcycle and car, and willingness to travel throughout German-speaking Switzerland (80%) and the rest of Switzerland (20%).
