Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Reward Strategy Manager to join our Head Office team in Madrid, Spain. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive total rewards strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and remains competitive in the local market.
The successful candidate will work closely with different teams across the business to ensure that rewards programs are well communicated and understood by all employees. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing a total rewards strategy that aligns with company objectives
- Ensuring that rewards programs remain competitive in the local market
- Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Advising senior management and HR staff on compensation and benefits matters
- Developing effective compensation and incentive programs, flexible benefits packages, and other rewards initiatives
- Managing projects related to rewards, including annual salary and bonus reviews, benefits renewals, and data accuracy
To succeed in this role, you will have a strong background in compensation and benefits, with at least 5-8 years of experience as a Compensation & Benefits Consultant or Finance Controller. You will also possess excellent analytical skills, be fluent in English, and have a strong understanding of Spanish language and culture.
Additionally, you will be able to communicate complex ideas with precision and transparency, coach and train managers, and be focused on continuous improvement and efficiency. As a team player, you will be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and be willing to adapt to changing priorities.
