Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Payments Graduate to join our Operations team in Malaga. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of customer payments, managing payment issues, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and process client payments in accordance with internal processes and SLAs
  • Manage payment beneficiaries and complete allocated tasks with focus and attention to detail
  • Communicate with colleagues, supervisors, and managers to ensure timely completion of tasks and escalate problems as needed
  • Investigate and resolve payment issues, including SWIFT and domestic payments, in line with internal processes and SLAs
  • Reconcile client funds and outbound payments across Ebury's network of bank accounts
  • Verify remitter bank account data and assign currency accounts to clients as requested

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of different payment clearing schemes and SWIFT in a cross-border payments context
  • At least 1+ years of relevant experience in Fintech / International Payments or similar
  • Proactive and diligent with good attention to detail and effective research skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work in a team environment
