Job Opportunity: Manufacturing Engineer Pilatus Ibérica

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Pilatus Aircraft Ltd in Sevilla, Spain. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement work instructions and planning documents in collaboration with the headquarters.
  • Determine production times and calculate manufacturing costs to optimize our production processes.
  • Provide technical supervision, support, and continuous improvement of the structural assembly operations.
  • Initiate and introduce construction or process changes to improve our manufacturing efficiency.
  • Moderate problem-solving between the engineering, quality department, and the shopfloor team to ensure seamless production.
  • Support the engineering department in ensuring the producibility of aerostructures and respective optimizations.

Requirements

  • Basic education in a technical profession with a relevant polytechnical further education or Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with at least 5 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Good user knowledge of SAP, PLM software such as Siemens Teamcenter, CAD, and MS Office.
  • Practical Lean Manufacturing know-how and mindset to drive efficiency and quality.
  • C1 levels in Spanish and English required, German would be an advantage.
  • Willingness to support the start-up phase of our new factory.
