Job Opportunity: Manufacturing Engineer Pilatus Ibérica

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement work instructions and planning documents to optimize production processes
  • Conduct production time and cost calculations to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Provide technical supervision and support to structural assembly operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Collaborate with the engineering department to ensure producibility of aerostructures and optimize manufacturing processes
  • Moderate problem-solving between the engineering, quality, and shopfloor teams to resolve production-related issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or relevant technical qualification with at least 5 years of manufacturing experience
  • Proficiency in SAP, PLM software, CAD, and MS Office
  • Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and a willingness to apply them in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • C1 level in English, Spanish, and German (advantageous)
