We are a leading company in the gardening and DIY sector, offering a wide range of innovative and high-quality products. Our goal is to expand our presence in the Polish market and we are seeking a Commercial Director to join our team.

Job Summary

The Commercial Director will lead and manage a team of Key Account Managers in Poland, developing and executing commercial strategies to increase sales and market share. This role requires identifying and opening new key accounts, establishing strong and lasting business relationships, and managing and developing existing key accounts to maximize their potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to increase sales and market share
  • Lead and manage the team of Key Account Managers in Poland
  • Identify and open new key accounts, establishing strong and lasting business relationships
  • Manage and develop existing key accounts to maximize their potential
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective integration and alignment of commercial strategies
  • Analyze the market and competition to identify opportunities and challenges
  • Prepare commercial reports and presentations for senior management
  • Meet sales targets and KPIs set by the company
  • Manage the P&L (Profit & Loss) and other financial aspects related to the commercial department
  • Develop long-term strategic plans for business growth in Poland
  • Represent the company at relevant trade fairs and commercial events

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the gardening or DIY sector
  • Experience in managing commercial teams and developing sales strategies
  • Experience in managing P&L and strong financial knowledge
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Results-oriented and able to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of the Polish market and its dynamics
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Polish is an additional advantage
