We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Infotree Global Solutions. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, performing specialized accounting work, and maintaining the general ledger across multiple European entities.
About the Company:
Our client is a renowned multinational organization specializing in environmental and energy innovations. With a legacy of innovation and reliability, they are committed to pushing the boundaries of sustainable technologies. They focus on crafting products and systems aimed at reducing emissions, boosting energy efficiency, and facilitating the global shift towards cleaner energy sources.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Month End Close deliverables and ARM reconciliation, with a focus on the UK site. Manage statutory tax and VAT reporting requirements, especially in Belgium, requiring expertise in Belgium GAAP. Facilitate both internal and external audits, ensuring SOx compliance and adherence to general accounting practices. Collaborate in the transition of accounting activities during the establishment of new facilities and system setups. Oversee inventory management during ERP transitions, including Oracle SaaS. Handle credit approvals, customer setup processes, and provide comprehensive local accounting support to business teams.
Your Role:
Analyze, record, and report accounting transactions in a timely and accurate manner. Prepare and reconcile general ledger entries, financial statements, and other accounting reports. Respond to financial inquiries from various stakeholders, including management and auditors. Regularly review and improve internal controls and accounting procedures. Maintain the utmost confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
Qualifications:
Certification as a CPA, CMA, CA is a plus. Fluency in Flemish is required due to interactions with statutory partners.
