Financial Accountant Job Description

Ebury, a leading FinTech firm, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join its Finance - Financial Control & Reporting department in Madrid. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and variances.
  • Manage subsidiary audits, coordinating with auditors and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Develop and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets to enhance financial reporting frameworks.
  • Participate in automation projects to convert manual tasks to system-based processes.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in finance, preferably with a Big 4 background.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
  • IFRS knowledge is essential.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
