Postdoctoral Researcher in Thermoelectric Devices

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Institute of Micro and Nanotechnology at Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (IMN-CSIC). The successful candidate will work on the development of innovative battery-free technology to generate electricity using cold space.
The project, COOLed, aims to explore the potential of radiative cooling to power Internet of Things (IoT) devices in smart cities. The researcher will focus on the thermoelectric properties and device fabrication of thermoelectric devices.
Requirements- PhD degree in physics, chemistry, material science, or engineering
- Previous expertise in material nanostructuration, thermoelectric characterization techniques, and/or thermoelectric or radiative cooler devices
- Good English abilities and personal skills
The project has been awarded €2M by the European Research Council, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research. The researcher will have the chance to work in a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment, collaborating with experts in the field.
