Postdoctoral Researcher in Photodetectors

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher to join our team at ICFO, The Institute of Photonic Sciences, in Castelldefels, Spain.
Research AreaThe successful candidate will be working in the Quantum Nano-Optoelectronics group led by Prof. Dr. Frank Koppens, focusing on the development of photodetectors with 2D materials heterostructure.
Responsibilities- Fabrication of devices
- Evaluation of the photoresponse
- Design of the devices
- Simulations
- Supervising PhD student(s)
Candidates must hold an internationally-recognized Ph.D.-equivalent degree (or evidence of its completion in the nearest future) preferably in Physics or Photonics. The candidate should have a proven track record of infrared and THz optics.
