Transforming Lives Through Technology
As a Cardiac Patient Management Solutions Consultant at Medtronic, you will engage with healthcare professionals daily, leveraging digital health innovations to enhance cardiac patient management.
The Patient Management division is dedicated to creating a responsive ecosystem that integrates software solutions for implantable cardiac devices, ongoing monitoring, and patient management services. This approach empowers healthcare providers and patients with actionable insights, significantly improving the standard of care throughout the patient journey with implantable cardiac devices.
You will collaborate closely with the local CRM Country Field organization, engaging with healthcare IT stakeholders to align on the implementation, connectivity, deployment, and training regarding the Patient Management Solutions portfolio.
You will execute local business strategies, coordinated by Patient Management in conjunction with the CRM Operating Unit and relevant organizations, to ensure comprehensive deployment of the SmartSync Solution across healthcare facilities.
A Typical Day
• Establishing and nurturing partnerships with the local Country CRM Field Team and EMEA stakeholders.
• Overseeing the implementation of hardware, software, and connectivity solutions at healthcare facilities, addressing technical challenges, and devising implementation plans with the CRM Field team.
• Assisting IT stakeholders with technical inquiries and validating connectivity within healthcare environments, including Wi-Fi and data sharing.
• Ensuring the successful installation and functionality of the SmartSync Device Manager solution, including testing and implementing printing capabilities.
• Providing technical training to customers, either in-person or remotely.
• Supporting project go-lives and ensuring that project plans and key performance indicators are updated, alongside local CRM Field Team in ordering and contracting processes.
• Collaborating with SHQ and Country CRM Field Team to drive account project plans and ensure a well-structured account target pipeline.
• Building strong relationships with target accounts, understanding their needs, and assisting the local Field Team in identifying new business opportunities.
• Coordinating internally to facilitate smooth deployment and ongoing support transitions to Technical Services, ensuring that business outcomes are met for both the customer and Medtronic.
• Managing existing client relationships throughout the implementation process to ensure satisfaction and optimal system usability and availability.
Essential Qualifications
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT consultancy, implementation, or support roles, preferably within a healthcare or hospital setting.
• A solid understanding of IT infrastructure, security, and data privacy regulations in a healthcare environment.
• Experience in training both technical and non-technical customers.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong coordination skills among diverse stakeholders and the ability to build relationships effectively.
• Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and presentation capabilities.
• A client-focused mindset, with skills in influencing, partnering, and negotiation.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain business relationships with evolving stakeholder groups within key customer organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
• Proven experience in delivering or supporting IT infrastructure in healthcare settings.
• Project management skills.
• Background as an IT consultant or in pre-sales roles.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and service support platforms.
