About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Node Backend Developer to join our Interactive team at Immfly, a leading provider of digital solutions for the airline industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend services for our Inflight Entertainment Platform.

As a Backend Developer, you will work closely with our project leaders, airline partners, and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs and requirements. Your primary focus will be on solving and preventing production bugs, increasing the internal quality of the product, and reducing technical debt.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable and efficient backend services using Node.js.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure software is designed and implemented according to best practices and standards.
  • Implement and maintain database structures and optimize queries for performance.
  • Create technical documentation and implement APIs.
  • Enforce strong security practices and ensure protection against vulnerabilities.
  • Perform maintenance, updates, and enhancements in the code.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the quality of the product and compliance with client requests.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience with Node.js and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish (oral/written).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Experience in designing and developing APIs.
  • Experience in CI/CD, database, and Git.
  • Strong development best practices.
  • Strong attention to documented code, tests, and continuous integration.
  • Nice to have knowledge of JavaScript, React, or Angular.
