The Role
We are seeking a skilled Node Backend Developer to join our Interactive team focusing on our Inflight Entertainment Platform.
You'll be working with airline project leaders, providing solutions to their business needs and requests, solving and preventing production bugs, and increasing the internal quality of the product.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services meeting business needs and requirements.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure that software is designed and implemented according to best practices and standards.
- Implement and maintain database structures and optimize queries for performance.
- Create technical documentation and implement APIs.
- Enforce strong security practices and ensure protection against vulnerabilities.
- Perform maintenance, updates, and enhancements in the code.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the quality of the product and compliance with client's requests.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- 4+ years of experience with Node.js.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish (oral/written).
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction.
- Experience in designing and developing APIs.
- Experience in CI/CD, database, and Git.
- Strong development best practices.
- Strong attention to documented code, tests, and continuous integration.
- Nice to have knowledge of JavaScript, React, or Angular.
