About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team at Siemens Energy, where you will play a crucial part in driving the energy transformation.

In this role, you will be part of our growing Data & Artificial Intelligence team within our Digital Core function, supporting the wider needs and demands from the business and transforming the way we think of data.

  • Communicate and present data governance concepts to upskill and train data management roles within the organization.
  • Create content to produce, refine, and publish data governance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Design, deliver, and execute data maturity models to support data governance embedding and monitoring.
  • Plan and execute workshops, walkthroughs, and reviews with stakeholders to endorse data governance artifacts.
  • Explain data governance concepts with clear examples and facilitate understanding of data governance's role in supporting data management workstreams.
  • Define data governance KPIs, measure, and drive their adoption and regular reporting.
  • Coordinate and execute data governance audits, and report on findings.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data governance issues.
