**Your Role as Strategic IT Director**
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our architecture agenda, driving the continuous integration of our IT landscape and ensuring scalability, performance, and security in architecture designs. Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the Zurich Global Ventures architecture agenda and establishing specific design authorities for complex projects and programs.
- Driving the integration of our IT landscape to meet business objectives.
- Signed responsibility for the IT roadmap to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Assessing new technologies and tools to determine their fit for our organization and recommending solutions that improve efficiency and performance.
- Engaging with stakeholders and translating business objectives into clear business cases with a focus on IT budgets and financial schedules.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Deep knowledge of IT architecture principles, including enterprise architecture, solution architecture, and technical architecture.
- Experience with cloud computing, microservices, DevOps, and cybersecurity.
- Strategic planning experience.
- Expertise in architectural frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor architecture teams.
