Job Title: Wind Energy Quality Manager

Vestas Wind Systems is seeking a highly skilled Wind Energy Quality Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the global quality strategy for our suppliers, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deploy the Vestas Quality Strategy towards external suppliers under CPX and Logistics in alignment with the relevant business functions.
  • Identify and involve business stakeholders along global and regional organizations to achieve the expected business results.
  • Monitor and control Supplier Quality Performance in CPX and Logistics.
  • Share and communicate knowledge and innovation.
  • Lead and develop the SQD CPX and Logistics Team to a professional quality team, setting priorities to achieve the business goals and create high impact.
  • Prepare executive reports and participate in Management review meetings.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (ideally Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree).
  • 10 years working experience in supplier quality management in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain; offshore experience is desirable.
  • Solid people management experience.
  • Significant problem-solving skills and experience in leading improvement projects.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 systems, and knowledge in QA methodologies, tools, and processes – such as APQP/PPAP.
  • Fluency in English, oral and written.
