Job Description

Key player in a leading B2B oriented organization in the metal industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, competitors, and potential challenges in the Italian market.
  2. Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the Italian market to meet or exceed export targets and drive business growth.
  3. Analyze market trends and customer preferences to ensure products are aligned with market demands and customer needs.
  4. Establish and maintain relationships with distributors, agents, and direct customers in the Italian market to expand the business and increase revenue.
  5. Manage existing client accounts while identifying new prospects to expand the business and increase market share.
  6. Conduct negotiations, prepare sales contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction to build strong relationships and drive repeat business.
  7. Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote products and expand the client base in the Italian market.
  8. Set and achieve sales targets, quotas, and profitability goals for the Italian export market to drive business success.
  9. Monitor sales performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports to senior management to inform business decisions.
  10. Develop pricing strategies, manage quotations, and ensure competitive pricing in Italy to drive sales and revenue growth.
  11. Coordinate the export process, including shipping logistics, customs documentation, and export regulations to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of metal industry sales/export experience with Italy
  • Italian and English language proficiency at level C1 or higher
