Job Summary:

The Employee Relations Specialist plays a vital role in fostering a positive and productive work environment at 2K Madrid. This role involves managing employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies, and providing guidance to managers and employees on various ER matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mediate disputes between employees and management, facilitating discussions to resolve issues and improve working relationships.
  • Assist managers with performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Provide guidance on the interpretation and application of company policies and employment laws.
  • Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints, including harassment, discrimination, and other workplace issues.
  • Ensure the organization complies with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Partner with the HR/L+D Trainers to develop and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee relations cases and outcomes.
  • Prepare reports and analyses of employee relations trends and issues to inform management decisions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations or a related area.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related field. A HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
  • Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
