About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Director to lead our North Europe team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a team of project managers and overseeing the implementation of store projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of project managers to ensure they have the necessary skills and capabilities to deliver high-quality projects.
- Supervise the implementation of point-of-purchase (POP) displays and support project managers in all aspects of construction, including approval, negotiation, and performance.
- Manage the regional architecture budget for projects and ensure that all store project implementations are delivered on time and within budget.
- Guide and supervise external consultants and local architects to ensure that they are following central strategies and delivering high-quality results.
- Accountable for delivering quality, on-time, and within budget for all store project implementations.
- Collaborate closely with Retail Architecture Operations and Distribution & Real Estate teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Take lead on important store projects, such as flagships, from site survey to handover to sales department.
- Proactively identify and propose innovative solutions for process, software, or team improvements.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced construction professional who brings the following:
- University degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within an international setting.
- Excellent English proficiency, presentation, and communication skills; Spanish, French, and German are considered highly beneficial.
- Experience in retail project management, store development, or facility management.
- Influencing skills to align with stakeholders during all phases of projects.
- Willingness to travel regularly, up to 40% of the time.
- Team orientation and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Innovative and creative approach, with a can-do attitude.
