About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Innovation and Pre-Award Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our collaborative research team, you will be responsible for developing the portfolio of research projects, transforming our technical roadmap into proposals, and creating the conditions for bringing new research projects by identifying programs and key partners. Your expertise will be crucial in building a complete and sound knowledge on the programs and calls available at EU and national levels relevant to our global research strategy.

Key Responsibilities
• Understand the value chain and ecosystem in different domains relevant to our research strategy
• Build a complete and sound knowledge on the programs and calls available at EU and national levels
• Identify and participate in relevant EU and national innovation and research events
• Define calls of interest and priorities between different calls
• Ensure compliance with rules in force, timeline, participant portal, and specificities of calls
• Maintain an annual plan of relevant calls available at EU and national levels
• Attend networking events for match-making
• Identify and reach out to contacts to build valuable consortium of partners
• Coordinate interactions within SiPearl to prepare proposals and define scope, timeline, effort, budget, skills needed, and approach to cooperate with partners
• Prepare proposals with stakeholders and involved partners under project coordinator's responsibility
• Analyze feedback received on submitted proposals
• Manage DoA and submission-to-signature workflow on participant portal
• Prepare Grant Agreement and Consortium Agreement with SiPearl legal department
• Maintain budget projections for business plan and update resource activity forecast
• Document processes and methodology for managing proposals from preparation to award decision
• Create and enrich knowledge database to improve efficiency in preparing proposals
• Provide regular reports and updates on calls funnel to SiPearl management

Requirements
• Master's degree in science and ideally in computer science (or relevant field)
• 5+ years of project management in international or multi-cultural context, including experience in facing public institutions, clients, and diverse stakeholders from science, industrial, technical, political, and academia domains
• Proven experience of working within a compliance framework with strict respect of deadlines
• Ability to prioritize and multitask between projects
• Proactive in building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders and fostering cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to delegate while controlling quality
• Appetite for innovation and understanding new technologies
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Proficiency in Spanish or German highly appreciated
