Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and organized self-starter to join our team as a Senior Manager of Business Intelligence for EU InTech. This role will focus on accelerating the EU Stores business by developing solutions for end customers, sellers, and vendors to support our flywheel.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing Measurement Architecture: Design and implement measurement architecture and metrics, developing reporting solutions using statistical analysis and programming languages such as R or Python.
  2. Supporting Product Launches: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the launch of new products and programs for global customers.
  3. Data Analysis: Dive deep into data to create insights using AWS Quicksight and Tableau, identifying trends and patterns to inform business decisions.
  4. Driving Business Changes: Develop and implement machine learning models and experimentation to drive business changes and invent new ways to look at data.
  5. Collaboration and Leadership: Partner with Data Engineers, Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Scientists, and Software Engineers to design products and systems to transform and store billions of data items using SQL, ETL, Data Warehouse solutions, and databases.
  6. Data Export and Analysis: Export and analyze data to understand customer behaviors, spot system defects, and benchmark our ability to serve our customers.
  7. Process Development: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the business intelligence team and their interactions across the organization.
  8. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of Business Intelligence engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure team success.
  9. Technical Expertise: Serve as a senior SME and mentor for SQL and Tableau, helping teams become more self-sufficient with scripted requests.

Requirements:

  1. Data Engineering: Knowledge of data engineering pipelines, cloud solutions, ETL management, databases, visualizations, and analytical platforms.
  2. Communication Skills: Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
  3. Statistical Knowledge: Knowledge of methods for statistical inference (e.g. regression, experimental design, significance testing).
  4. Business Acumen: Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
